Gugulethu-Sofia Mbatha or Gugu Mbatha Raw is an actress from Britain who has gained recognition for her performance in 'Doctor Who.' This British TV science-fiction series was broadcast by the BBC. Gugu achieved a lot of acclaim for her performance in the role of Tish Jones, the daughter of the major character Martha Jones, in the series. People loved Gugu's vibrant enthusiasm. Chelsea Joy Handler born 25th February 1975 in Livingston New Jersey. She was the eldest child within a household of six. Handler grew up in a family comprised of six children. Her mother worked at home, and her father sold cars used by other people. Her mother immigrated from Germany into the United States as a young woman in 1958. In 1989 her diagnosis was cancer. She passed away 10 years afterward. Handler is a Reform Jew as well as her father who was Jewish. Handler was born into a lovely neighborhood and had a pleasant childhood. At the age of 19 Handler made the move to Los Angeles, California to explore a career in acting. Handler started acting to earn income. Handler decided to concentrate on stand-up when she was 21, after she realized her story telling abilities. Handler began her professional career being a part of the female-only Oxygen team, and was a part of a television show named Girls Behaving BADLY. This series was known for its secret camera and the practical joke. This show aired from 2002 until 2005. Handler started appearing on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started working as a correspondent on The Tonight Show as a reporter. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 when she started running her own talk show for E! called The Chelsea Handler show. The show ran for two seasons. Handler then performed in America in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have been able to broadcast live stand-up shows. In 2010, the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were revealed. She became the second woman in the history of television, after Roseanne Barr, to host the VMAs.
