Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel (born on the 2nd of December, 1968) is an American actress. Her role includes daytime television as well as episodic guest performances and movies made for TV. Sofer was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her role in the role of Lois Cerullo on the soap drama General Hospital. She played the role Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap show The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 until 2022.
Childhood and early life
Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) who is a psychologist and Martin Sofer, who is an Orthodox Rabbi.
In 1970, she moved to Teaneck, New Jersey with her brother David and father. However, when Sofer was five years old, she was living in Western Pennsylvania. They were brought up in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She then attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high school in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was rabbi of Temple Beth El. She graduated from North Bergen High School, after which she attended classes at Montclair State College.
Career
Television during the daytime
Lois Marie Cerullo was Lois Marie Sofer's first character on General Hospital. Her first appearance was in 1993 as the manager of an ensemble. She first appeared in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap show Loving.
